Tanque Verde sits east of the Catalina Foothills — large lots, custom homes, and an unusually high percentage of horse properties and acreage estates. Door inventory here skews high-end: oversized custom doors, full-view glass, and carriage-house styles. Standard tract-home garage door techs aren't equipped for most Tanque Verde work.
Whatever's wrong with your door, we cover it here in Tanque Verde:
The landmarks, schools, and HOAs we know — because we work here every week.
Tanque Verde's home stock is custom-build territory — most homes constructed between 1980 and 2010 on acreage lots. The mix includes 1980s ranch-style Tuscan estates, 1990s custom Mediterraneans, and 2000s+ contemporary builds. Wood and faux-wood doors are unusually common here. Many properties also have detached workshops, RV bays, or barns with their own doors.
Tanque Verde's eastern foothill location (~2,800–3,500 feet) brings cooler mornings than central Tucson and stronger UV exposure on west-facing slopes. Wood doors here weather faster from sun cycling. Horse properties with detached barns face additional dust intrusion from unpaved driveways and animal traffic.
